The lesson learned, was to remember to ALWAYS use notepad!

I was copying and pasting from Word and even though in the past it wasn't an issue, this weekend it did not take! I spent at least 2 hours of my extended weekend trying to figure out what was wrong!

and as simple as that, the answer is notepad :)
HIMA Internet Strategies '08 registration is now open

The Houston Interactive Marketing Association's Internet Strategies '08: Secrets Exposed is now open for registrations. This was not an algorithmic change but purely a change on how they manage data. For a short time the Google Search Results exhibited some strange behavior including:

•	Google showing different numbers of pages indexed in Webmaster Central than they did for the Google site command.
•	New pages taking up to 2 weeks (sometimes more) to be indexed.
•	Currently indexed pages featuring outdated and inaccurate caches.
•	Older, higher-quality sites losing their rankings to newer sites of lower quality.

We're seeing things slowly returning, but give it another week or so.

This latest update is a lesson in WHAT NOT TO DO when you see a sudden ranking drop. Often, rankings fluctuations caused by big updates resolve themselves within a week or two without your having to do anything.

Making changes to your content during an update to try to get your rankings back is often the worst thing you can do. You're much better advised to wait it out until things settle down.

Also the PageRank displayed in the Google toolbar has also changed for some sites (not on Lead Maverick). However you should know that the PageRank shown in the Google Toolbar IS NOT the same PageRank used by Google internally for ranking sites. The toolbar Rank is only an approximation and not much more than that!

As always we here at Lead Maverick want to keep you informed. If you have any question feel free to ask.
SER Software

I am going to be working on a site that has tons of pages and keywords.
