You may have already experimented with paid search engine placement on Google or Yahoo/Overture. These tools are very helpful and can gain exposure for your website. But they do have limitations:
They are expensive, with the average cost per click at $0.54 each.

* You have a limited exposure based on the keyword(s) people search on.
* On average, less than 1% of viewers click on search engine ads.

* You have no cost per click. Just one low monthly subscription.
* You have virtually no limits on the amount of text you may enter.
* Your content is posted in context.
* Your information is automatically optimized so that search engines can find you AND your content is more descriptive.
* You have a better opportunity for people to find you in the "organic" search result area.
